[Remote] Head of Product Marketing

The Head of Product Marketing will lead a team in positioning, messaging, and launching products for AI and Research customers, ensuring cohesive communication across various buying contexts.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of 3 PMMs, setting direction, removing blockers, and building their craft across positioning, launches, and sales enablementOwn Prolific's product positioning and messaging architecture – the foundational narratives that vertical teams and sales build onBuild and run the product launch framework: the process, the templates, the cross-functional coordination that makes launches predictable and effectiveOwn solutions packaging and go-to-market strategy for combination of platform, participants and servicesPartner with Product leadership to shape roadmap priorities based on market signal and competitive positioningWork directly with Sales leadership to understand what's landing in deals, what's not, and translate that into better narratives and sales enablement materialsConduct and synthesise market, competitive, and customer research to inform product strategy and go-to-market decisionsSet the standard for PMM craft at Prolific – how we write, how we launch, how we measure impactSkills7+ years in product or solutions marketing, with at least 2 years leading or managing PMMsExperience building PMM as a function – not just executing within an established playbookProven ability to translate complex, technical products into positioning that lands with different buyer typesStrong stakeholder management across Product, Sales, and executive teams – you know how to influence without authority and build trust with technical and commercial leadersTrack record of shipping launches that moved business metrics, not just 'got out the door'Excellent writing and synthesis skills – you can take messy inputs and produce clear, compelling outputsExperience in product marketing or solutions marketing for complex B2B products, marketplaces, or platform businesses - ideally with multi-stakeholder buyer journeysBenefitsCompetitive salaryBenefitsRemote workingBase salaryEquityCash variable element, such as a bonus or commissionCompany OverviewBuilding the most advanced global infrastructure for People Science.
