[Remote] Head of Finance

As the Head of Finance, you will own the financial heartbeat of the business, managing cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision support. This role requires collaboration with leadership and department heads to ensure profitable decision-making and strong financial discipline.ResponsibilitiesOwn daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasting across all brands and channelsMaintain and improve the company’s financial models, dashboards, and reporting systemsBuild annual budgets and rolling forecasts in partnership with department leadsTrack actual performance vs budget and explain key variances with actionable recommendationsLeverage AI tools and automation platforms to streamline financial workflows, improve reporting speed, enhance forecasting accuracy, and eliminate repetitive manual processes across the finance functionPrepare weekly and monthly reporting on revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, profitability, and operating expensesPartner with Growth to align ad spend budgets with cash flow, CAC targets, and profitability goalsPartner with Ops to align inventory purchases, launches, and retail expansion with financial plansMonitor liabilities, debt obligations, and upcoming cash risks; then propose mitigation plansOversee vendor payment planning, invoice accuracy, and spend controlsIdentify opportunities to improve margins, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiencyManage relationships with external accountants, banks, and financial partnersEnsure organized records and readiness for audits, diligence, and tax filingsBuild scalable finance systems and processes that grow with the companySkills5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or similar rolesExperience in DTC, e-commerce, retail, or consumer brands preferredStrong command of cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelingStrong proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, automation platforms, etc.) and a demonstrated ability to apply them to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and elevate decision-making within financeAbility to translate financial data into clear recommendations for non-finance leadersAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets skillsExperience with financial systems such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, Shopify, Triple Whale, or similar toolsStrong business judgment and understanding of unit economics, contribution margin, and growth efficiencyHighly organized with strong attention to detailComfortable operating in a lean, high-growth environment with high ownershipBenefitsCompetitive Compensation: We offer a strong salary and benefits package, tailored to attract top talentRemote Work Environment: We’re a fully remote team built around trust, ownership, and communication.
