This leadership role involves defining brand positioning, managing integrated campaigns, and building cultural relevance to drive long-term growth.ResponsibilitiesOwn and evolve TextNow’s brand positioning and messaging architecture, ensuring clarity and consistency across all touchpointsChampion our cultural platform rooted in autonomy, dignity, flexibility, and challenger brand energyServe as primary steward of TextNow’s brand narrative, partnering closely with the VP, Marketing on long term direction and differentiationEnsure execution aligns to messaging pillars and elevates the brand beyond legacy framingPartner with Product Marketing to align brand storytelling with roadmap and go to market sequencingLead cross channel execution of brand campaigns with disciplined message sequencing and clear phase gatesDefine brand media channel strategy and investment approachDrive integrated planning across paid, earned, and owned channels, ensuring each plays a defined role in awareness, legitimacy, comprehension, and usagePartner closely with Creative to translate strategy into a distinctive and cohesive look, feel, and voiceEnsure campaign briefs are strategically rigorous and aligned to brand objectivesShow up meaningfully in the spaces where our audience already lives, works, and createsIdentify cultural moments, partnerships, creators, and archetypes that reinforce brand positioningEnsure cultural participation is credible, confident, and additiveOwn day to day management of creative, media, PR, influencer, and production partnersEvaluate agency performance and evolve roster as neededDrive strong briefs, clear deliverables, disciplined execution, and accountability for measurable resultsEstablish a strong operating partnership with Creative Services to ensure strategy and execution are developed in lockstepPartner with Lifecycle Marketing to ensure brand messaging carries through onboarding, habit formation, and retentionAlign with Product and Product Marketing on roadmap storytelling and feature sequencingPartner with Performance Marketing to align brand investment with acquisition efficiency and long term CAC improvementWork closely with Analytics to define measurement frameworks and success metricsSupport Direct Sales by strengthening TextNow’s B2B brand presence through thought leadership, PR, and high impact industry eventsOperationalize a brand measurement framework across health, behavior, and efficiency metricsDefine KPIs across awareness, trust, legitimacy, comprehension, usage lift, referral velocity, and CAC efficiencyDrive measurable improvements in brand awareness, trust, and cultural relevance over timeLead post launch analysis and ongoing optimization of messaging, channel mix, and creativeEnsure brand investment is evaluated on long term growth impact, not solely short term attributionOwn brand budget across media, production, partnerships, and agenciesDevelop annual awareness strategy and investment roadmapScale what works while maintaining creative and strategic disciplineSkills8 to 12 plus years of progressive experience in brand or integrated marketing, with meaningful ownership of brand investment and business impactProven leader who has built or scaled brand platforms in challenger, high growth, or culturally relevant categoriesDemonstrated experience leading large scale brand campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channelsStrong understanding of media strategy, channel role architecture, and full funnel integrationTrack record managing creative, media, PR, and influencer agencies with discipline and accountabilityStrategic thinker who understands how brand drives long term growth, CAC efficiency, and business performanceCulturally fluent and capable of embedding brands authentically within relevant communitiesStrong cross functional operator who can align Brand, Performance, Lifecycle, Product Marketing, and Analytics around shared outcomesComfortable operating with executive visibility in a fast scaling environmentExperience in telecom, consumer technology, app first, or subscription businessesBenefitsFree phone serviceStrong work life blendFlexible work arrangements (work-from-home, remote, or access to one of our office spaces)Employee
