Knowing the platforms well enough to push back on the agency when neededOwning newsletter production end to end in Beehiiv, from copy to sendWorking with our design agency and freelancers on creative briefs and reviewsBringing and executing new lead gen ideasKeeping our marketing reporting clean and currentSkills3 to 5 years in a marketing role, ideally at an early-stage B2B SaaS company. You're past the 'I need someone to teach me everything' phaseComfortable on ad platforms. You've actually been in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager and can read a campaign without panicking. Deep experience here is a major plusA confident writer. You can take a rough brief and produce a clean LinkedIn post or 800-word blog draft without ten rounds of feedback. Writing samples will matterGenuinely high AI proficiency. Not 'I use ChatGPT sometimes.' We mean: you build and use Claude or ChatGPT projects, you've experimented with Claude Code or other agentic tools, you have opinions about which models are best for which tasks, and you actively look for ways to do work faster with AI. If AI isn't already woven into your daily workflow, this isn't your roleScrappy and resourceful. You figure things out. One day you'll be writing a LinkedIn post, the next you might be asked to produce a 60-second product launch video.
