[Remote] Growth Marketing Consultant– Lead Generation & Conversion Focus (Acquisition & Retention)

HiveSMART is a dynamic company focused on growth marketing, and they are seeking a results-driven Growth Marketing Consultant to define, capture, and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). The role involves owning the entire lead generation funnel, leveraging data-driven strategies, and collaborating with Sales and Business Development teams to drive revenue growth and optimize the customer lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesDefine and Refine Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)Develop and document MQL criteria in partnership with Sales/BD teams, ensuring alignment on lead quality, intent signals, and conversion potentialAnalyze customer and lead data to identify patterns, behaviors, and attributes that correlate with high conversion ratesCollaborate with Sales/BD to refine lead scoring models, ensuring MQLs meet both marketing and sales expectationsCapture and Nurture MQLsOptimize lead capture channels (e.g., website forms, landing pages, chatbots, gated content) to maximize MQL volume and qualityMonitor lead quality and adjust targeting strategies to reduce wasted effort on unqualified leadsDesign and execute lead nurturing campaigns (email, retargeting, personalized content) to move leads through the funnelDevelop and maintain a process for A/B testing (including but not limited to messaging, CTAs, and landing pages)Leverage marketing automation & existing marketing tech stack (e.g., HubSpot, etc) and AI (e.g. ChatGPT, Apollo AI sequencing, etc) to streamline lead routing, follow-up processes, conversion, and improvements to overall customer journeyDrive Conversion with Sales/BD TeamsServe as a bridge between Marketing and Sales/BD, ensuring seamless handoffs and alignment on lead definitions, SLAs, and feedback loopsRegularly review MQL-to-SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) conversion rates and identify bottlenecks in the funnelCreate and share actionable insights with Sales/BD teams, such as lead source performance, content effectiveness, and customer pain pointsParticipate in sales meetings to provide context on lead sources, nurturing strategies, and conversion challengesExperiment and OptimizeBuild dashboards and reports that track lead quality and conversion performance including KPIs such as MQL volume, conversion rates, lead velocity, and pipeline contributionEstablish repeatable processes, identify new tools and workflows that will help improve marketing performanceCross-Functional CollaborationCapture & build customer lifecycle with the Revenue teamWork closely with business, product, and PR to align messaging and ensure a cohesive customer experienceSupport Sales/BD teams with enablement materials (e.g., battle cards, case studies, Gamma deck/1pagers) to improve close ratesSkills2+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or lead generation, with a proven track record of defining MQLs and improving conversion ratesStrong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot), and marketing automation platformsHands-on experience with A/B testing, landing page optimization, and lead nurturing campaignsExcellent communication and collaboration skills - you'll be the bridge between ToF MarComm/PR and Sales/BDConfidence with lead scoring models and experience aligning marketing and sales teams on lead definitionsData-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategiesExperience in B2B SaaS, consulting, or high-growth startupsKnowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) or predictive lead scoringExperience with chatbots, conversational marketing, or AI-driven lead qualificationBackground in sales enablement or rev opsBenefitsOpportunity to shape the growth strategy of a dynamic, mission-driven team.A collaborative and fast-paced environment with a focus on human-centric innovation & impact.Access to tools and resources to execute your strategies.Commission-based growth opportunities and client facing project work.Company OverviewHiveSMART Consulting is the enterprise transformation and execution arm of Hive Enterprises.
