They are seeking a Group Product Manager for Compliance Automation to lead the product vision and strategy for AI/ML-powered systems that automate regulatory obligations, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance across jurisdictions.ResponsibilitiesOwn the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Coinbase's Compliance Automation platform, covering sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection, and risk-based compliance workflowsLead a team of PMs to define, prioritize, and deliver AI/ML-powered capabilities that reduce manual compliance effort, increase detection accuracy, and scale compliance operations across jurisdictionsDrive significant cost optimization by identifying and executing automation opportunities across one of Coinbase's largest operational cost centers, without increasing regulatory riskPartner with Compliance, Legal, Trust & Risk, Engineering, and Data Science to ensure automation systems meet regulatory requirements while enabling product velocityShape the integration of emerging AI/ML technologies to strengthen compliance detection, reduce false positive rates, and accelerate case resolutionBuild and maintain relationships with regulatory and compliance stakeholders, translating evolving regulatory requirements into actionable product capabilitiesSkills10+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in AI/ML-powered automation, compliance technology, or operational automation at scaleExperience leading large, complex cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams, including managing managers or leading PM teamsDemonstrated ability to partner with ML engineers on agentic AI architectures and translate technical capabilities into compliance product strategyProven track record with regulatory compliance frameworks (sanctions, transaction monitoring, AML/BSA) and navigating compliance approval processesExperience driving executive-level alignment and communicating investment tradeoffs to senior leadership (VP+, ET) with clarity and precisionUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and qualityBenefitsTotal compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k))Company OverviewCoinbase is a crypto exchange and wallet platform that allows merchants and consumers to buy, sell, and store digital currencies.
