[Remote] Grant Writer

ProjectArt is a national arts education non-profit that empowers youth, artists, and their communities through free visual arts classes and artist residencies. The Grant Writer will be responsible for gathering documentation and fulfilling requirements to seek funding, collaborating with staff to produce competitive proposals and reports.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand ProjectArt's history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs in order to write successful proposals and reportsDraft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of federal programs and foundationsSubmit proposals to ProjectArt staff for review and make necessary editsMaintain records and submit reports related to grant awardsSkillsBachelor's degree in English, communications, business administration or a related areaA minimum of two years experience in grant writing with proof of awardsOutstanding written communication skills and editing skills; ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposalsAbility to manage several projects simultaneously while meeting respective deadlinesExcellent knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising processesAbility to evaluate, interpret, and present complex information effectively with acute attention to detailMaster's degreeCompany OverviewProjectArt’s purpose is to unleash the power of creativity in every child and change the way the world values arts education.
