[Remote] Grant Writer

PCs for People is a nonprofit organization focused on digital equity and technology access, and they are seeking a Grant Writer to manage grant proposals that fund their programs and operations. The role involves researching, writing, and managing grant submissions while collaborating with various teams to ensure funding aligns with the organization's mission.ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities aligned with PCs for People's mission and programmatic prioritiesWrite, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports on time and in compliance with funder requirementsSupport the development of a diversified funding strategy in partnership with organizational leadership and the Enterprise and Impact teamsStay current on trends in digital equity, environmental sustainability, and nonprofit funding landscapes to identify emerging opportunitiesManage a grants calendar to ensure all deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal cycles are tracked and metCollaborate with program, finance, and leadership teams to gather data, outcomes, and supporting materials needed for proposals and reportsMaintain accurate grant records including applications, awards, correspondence, and reporting documentationSupport the Enterprise and Impact teams in maintaining positive relationships with current and prospective funders through professional communication and stewardshipMonitor grant budgets and work with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting to fundersTrack program outcomes and impact data to support compelling, evidence-based grant narrativesOther duties as requestedSkills3+ years of experience in grant writing, development, or a related nonprofit fundraising roleDemonstrated track record of successful grant awards across foundation, corporate, and/or government funding sourcesExceptional written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive narrativesStrong research skills and ability to identify and qualify funding opportunitiesExperience managing multiple deadlines simultaneously with strong organizational and project management skillsAbility to translate complex program data and outcomes into accessible, funder-friendly languageCollaborative team player who can work cross-functionally with program, finance, and leadership staffFamiliarity with grants management systems or CRM platforms preferredKnowledge of digital equity, technology access, environmental sustainability, or related issue areas is a plusPrevious networking and/or installation experience highly desirableBenefitsMedical - Choice of PlansDental - Choice of PlansVision401k with Match with 100% VestingVoluntary Disability InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceFlexible PTO & Sick LeaveCompany OverviewPCs for People is a non-profit organization that offers computer recycling, tax preparation assistance, and internet solutions.
