[Remote] Government Travel Consultant

Shinvestments LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Government Travel Consultant to support federal agencies with professional travel services. This role ensures travel arrangements meet government standards while delivering exceptional service, with comprehensive training provided for success.ResponsibilitiesSecure air, car and hotel accommodations for contracted government agenciesEnsure that all aspects of booked travel (domestic and international) adhere to all government travel regulations, and validate that a high quality of accommodation and transportation is securedEnsure all queues are maintained throughout the dayInitiate cancellation or reservation change processes to their completion, where applicable, to include expedient client agency notificationProvide updates, as necessary, to client agencies to ensure their full awareness of information and status relating to the pending travelConduct routine research of travel industry changes, trends and offerings to ensure they are working with the most up-to-date information when advising client agenciesMaintain a professional customer service attitude and demeanor at all times while providing quality service, timely and accurate completion of travel arrangements and recommending value-added services to the client agencyWeekend work is required in this roleSkillsHigh School Diploma or GED, with some post-high school educationTravel industry experienceProactive approach to systems and processesWorking knowledge of WorldSpan and SABRE GDSWritten and verbal communication skillsCustomer service skillsPositive attitudeWeekend work is required in this roleCompany OverviewSeneca Holdings is the investment arm of the Seneca Nation of Indians, and has unique sovereign advantages that help to create value.
