Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for their Customer Support Temp position at their Waller, TX location. The role involves mediating between customers and the manufacturer, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in coordinating onsite visits or repairs with HVAC dealers or contractors.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service via phones and email. (homeowners, distributors, dealers)Respond promptly to correspondence via phone, fax, mail, and emailPerform data entry, review, process, file and maintain documentsLocated HVAC dealers/contractors and dispatching work ordersConsult with internal technical experts, when necessary, and assure executive authorization is provided for material expendituresIdentify and suggest process improvement opportunitiesMake Insurance, Attorney General, BBB, and Legal cases a priority by communicating with appropriate departments and managementEscalate matters of concern/urgency to immediate team lead or managerPerform other duties as assignedSkillsExcellent customer service skillsMust have ability to diffuse an upset callerAbility to handle calls in a timely mannerEffective communication skills - Articulation, pronunciation, and proper grammar a mustStrong intellect and aptitude desired, along with ability to manage multiple and varied activitiesEffective organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritizeHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy of workAnalytical skills including ability to interpret information and make sound recommendationsMust have the ability to work in a cross functional capacity with internal and external teamsWorking knowledge of internet applications as well as data entry, Microsoft Excel, and WordAbility to multi-task and handle a fast paced environmentFamiliar working with general office equipmentβ Fax, Multi-line phone, copier, and document scanningAbility to report to work per assigned schedule β and complete work within assigned time linesKnowledge of warranty processes1 β 3 years of progressive experience in related field (warranty processes and preferably within HVAC industry)5 plus years of customer service experienceHigh School diploma or GED equivalent and familiarity with finance, accounting and statistics desirableMust be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodationsQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
