[Remote] Global & Strategic Account Manager

The role involves developing long-term strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability through collaboration and effective account management.ResponsibilitiesEstablish strong relationships with key stakeholders with global / corporate reach at assigned customer accountsAssess, clarify, validate and quantify the customer’s existing and unmet needs on an ongoing basisDevelop a Global Account Plan with a five-year ambition for revenues and profitability in coordination with the regional sales organizations and customers when necessaryReview and agree the global key projects and priorities to work on with the customer, identify and lead the resources, and KPI needed to meet the mutually accepted objectivesProactively lead the planning process with customer input where appropriateBuild the annual budget in conjunction with the local teams and monitor achievementContribute to the creation of the local / regional yearly Tactical Action Plans, supporting budget achievement and Global Account PlanLeads solution development efforts, generates initiatives and implements processes that best address our strategic key customer needs, through coordinating the involvement of all necessary internal resourcesEnsure that consistent and coherent pricing is in place at all customer sites to mitigate the risks of non-justifiable pricing anomalies. Identify and resolve issuesAnimate the Regional and Local Key Account managers network and foster the spirit of collaborationEnsure the compliance of business activities to the most stringent requirements of legal and ethical standards and the current company policyEnsure proper customer knowledge by maintaining customer records in accordance with company guidelines and toolsOrganize and lead regular internal and customer-facing business reviews to monitor the performance and identify and implement corrective actions as neededPerform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standardsPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor degree required (Food Science, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Business, Marketing, Management or related field), Masters preferred7+ years of experience with selling complex solutions to multiple decision-making groups in a business-to-business and managing complex projects and leading cross functional resources in a matrixed environmentOR HS Diploma/GED and 11+ years of experience selling complex solutions to multiple decision-making groups in a business-to-business and managing complex projects and leading cross functional resources in a matrixed environmentStrong analytical skills in interpreting metrics and handling data (e.g., budgeting revenue, profitability, service rates) and demonstrable experience in managing follow-up actions Budget management, financial projection skillsStrong negotiation skillsConsistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotesEffective Presentation Skills - including the ability to present technical dataInfluence change using skills and relationships to persuade others to adopt new ideas, behaviors, or processesFunctional skills including critical thinking, adaptability, time management, communication, problem-solving and digital literacyUnderstand complex information and interpret it accurately, often requiring critical thinking and analysis to grasp the full pictureMake timely decisions by quickly choosing effective solutions in high-pressure situations for optimal outcomesSkilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
