[Remote] Global Senior Accountant

Viroclinics-DDL is a dynamic company seeking a Global Senior Accountant to take ownership of General Ledger accounting across Belgium and the Netherlands. The role involves leading month-end close processes, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and contributing to the SAP S/4 HANA transition in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and execute month-end close for Belgium and Netherlands entities within agreed timelinesPrepare and review GL journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany reconciliationsOwn balance sheet reconciliations — ensuring accuracy, completeness and appropriate documentationSupport the Financial Controller with management reporting and variance analysisActively contribute to the SAP S/4 HANA transition — including data quality, process design and post go-live correctionsLiaise with external auditors and support the statutory audit process for BE and NLIdentify and drive process improvements as part of the Finance operating model build-outSkillsACA, ACCA, RA or equivalent professional qualification3–6 years of relevant experience — Big 4 or mid-tier practice background with post-qualification industry experience strongly preferredHands-on SAP experience (S/4 HANA preferred); comfortable with month-end close processes and GL accountingExperience working across multiple entities or jurisdictions a strong plusAutonomous, structured approach — you manage your own workload and flag risk earlyStrong English requiredDutch or French language skills a plus but not essentialBenefitsHybrid: trueOn_site: trueRemote: trueOccasional travel between Belgium and Netherlands may be required.Company OverviewViroclinics operates at a global level, being the preferred virology testing laboratory for several of the top-10 Biopharmaceutical companies.
