As the Global Product Manager for KVM & Serial Products, you will oversee the development and enhancement of key products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.ResponsibilitiesDefine and articulate the product vision and strategy for our portfolio of IT management products in the KVM and Serial Console marketsDevelop and maintain a comprehensive 3-year strategic product roadmap that aligns with business goals and market demandsConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiationPartner with engineering teams to translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and oversee the development processCollaborate to ensure a user-centric approach to product design and functionality with the goal to improve the customer experience and drive market adoptionWork with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to create go-to-market strategies, sales enablement materials, and customer support documentationEngage with customers, partners, and industry experts to gather feedback and understand their needs, pain points, and preferencesUtilize data-driven insights and analytics to drive product decisions and prioritize featuresMonitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the product relevant and forward-thinkingOversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality product and software releasesDefine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvementManage product enhancements, updates, and bug fixes based on customer feedback and market demandsSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree encouraged5+ years of experience in product management or product development, with a focus on Enterprise IT management, networking equipment, remote access devices, or compute platformsProven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products with software elements throughout their lifecycleExperience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with product management tools and methodologiesExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsExceptional communication, presentation, and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsCompany OverviewVertiv designs, builds and services critical infrastructure that enables vital applications for data centers and industrial facilities.
