The Global Markets Accounting Lead will oversee brokerage-related accounting and reporting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations while leading the design and implementation of policies and processes. This role requires collaboration across various teams as the company prepares for swap-dealer registration with the National Futures Association.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing all brokerage related accounting and reporting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading the design, documentation, and implementation of policies, processes, and controlsWorking cross functionally with legal, compliance and other teams within Anchorage as we prepare for swap-dealer registration with the National Futures AssociationDemonstrate expertise in US GAAP with a focus on ASC 606 and ASC 815 and regulatory accounting requirements, ensuring accurate application to revenue recognition and accounting for prime brokerage servicesExpertise in accounting and regulatory reporting requirements for swap-dealers or related businesses, including knowledge of NFA filings and development of related proceduresResolve a wide range of issues in creative ways, suggesting different potential approaches and adapting to new circumstances rapidlyEstablished expertise in designing, implementing, and continuously improving daily and month-end prime brokerage accounting practices, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and industry best practicesApply advanced skills in Google Sheets to efficiently and reliably work with large data setsProven ability to account for complex matrix organizational structures and intercompany transactionsLead the accounting team through the intricacies of accounting related to digital asset and OTC derivative prime brokerage activities and products, ensuring
