[Remote] Global Account Manager

They are seeking an experienced Account Manager to sell Network and Data Security solutions to US Civilian Government Law Enforcement Agencies, focusing on developing relationships and closing business opportunities.ResponsibilitiesPosition requires a senior professional with a proven ability to set sales strategies, identify leads, develop and qualify opportunities, and close business in our Network Edge and Data Security portfolioThe ideal candidate has sales experience in and around the US Government, DOD, Intel snd or Civilian agencies with a technical background in security software and hardwareGains knowledge and insight to Customer's business priorities and challenges and propose Forcepoint solutions to address these needsWorks closely with Sales Engineering and Product Management to develop quotes/proposals and share market insightsDevelops relationships with key partners, distributors, resellers, and VARs for growth of our products within Forcepoint’s Edge portfolioLeads sales presentations at resellers and end user locationsCoordinates sales enablement with field sales representatives and managersFormulates New Business strategies and implements tactical plans to overachieve sales quotaDemonstrate the ability to analyze the needs of customers and determine how to position Forcepoint's Network Edge products and professional services to competitively meet those needsMaintain an awareness of competitive offerings and strategies across the spaceAct as liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and servicesIn conjunction with Sales Engineers and Primary Account Managers, deliver compelling business value product demonstrations of Edge solutions to architectural, administrative and executive customer audiences using a storyboard approachUnderstand customer’s business drivers and network architectures, and promote new and innovative approaches, including improvement areas in network designOrganize and lead in region Meetups and User GroupsBuild a strong pipeline of new business opportunities such that the sales pipeline reflects the capability to meet and exceed sales goals on a quarterly basisThe role requires up to 50% travelSkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5+ years' experience attaining or exceeding set quotas in the Network and Data Security arenasExperience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances including, but not limited to, Firewalls, DLP and Web Security ProxiesKnowledge of routing and switchingConfident in Public SpeakingC-Level Presentation Skills and ExperienceStrong professional network with partners and system IntegratorsCreative Sales Thinking and strong commitment to the customer missionExperience with creating/building/executing sales playsPrior experience as a sales specialist/strategist/sales overlay roleExcellent white-boarding skillsActive TS Clearance is preferred but not requiredBenefitsBonusesPaid time off policyMany region-specific benefitsCompany OverviewForcepoint is a data protection cybersecurity firm that helps businesses in securing users, data, and networks while enabling development.
