[Remote] GIS Analyst (W2 & Locals Only)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Elegant Enterprise-Wide Solutions, Inc. is seeking a GIS Analyst to implement, maintain, and provide technical support for GIS applications. The role involves coordinating with database management, designing GIS applications, and providing technical backup while adhering to IT standards and security requirements. Responsibilities • Implement, maintain, and provide technical support as the ArcGIS Server Administrator Assistant. • Coordinate and develop scripting and database management with the Database Administrator Assistant. • Design, implement, and/or modify web, mobile, and client/server-based GIS applications for program areas. • Provide technical backup to other modules as assigned. Adheres to Information Technology application development standards and security requirements. Provide appropriate administrative documentation/project communication. • Allow flexibility to support smaller agency GIS projects or consultation. • Participate in agency meetings that support understanding the scope of GIS applications within agency goals and strategies. Skills • A bachelor’s degree in geography or a related field and 3+ years of work experience in the development and maintenance of geographic information systems (GIS). • 3+ years of experience utilizing ESRI’s ArcGIS Maps SDK. • 3+ years of experience with scripting and development languages (Python, HTML, CSS, JQuery and Bootstrap, C#). • 3+ years of experience with SQL Database, ArcGIS Server Administration for ArcGIS Enterprise. • 3+ years of experience with GIS software standards and capabilities. • Ability to analyze and accommodate GIS user requirements. • Ability to develop and manage GIS projects effectively. • Knowledge of ArcGIS server infrastructure and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal maintenance.
