The role involves implementing and maintaining ArcGIS server administration, developing GIS applications, and providing technical support for various projects within the agency. Responsibilities • Implement, maintain, and provide technical support as the ArcGIS server administrator assistant. • Coordinate and develop scripting and database management with the SCDES Database Administrator Assistant. • Design, implement, and modify web, mobile and client/server-based GIS applications for program areas. • Provide technical backup to other modules as assigned. • Adheres to information technology application development standards and security requirements. • Provide appropriate administrative documentation/project communication. • Allow flexibility to support smaller agency GIS projects or consultations. • Participate in agency meetings that support understanding the scope of GIS applications within the agency's goals and strategies.
