Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience successfully handling General Liability claims.
Prior experience working with Public Entities is highly preferred, demonstrating a valuable specialization in the field.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience utilizing various claims database management systems
Public Entity Focus Areas:
Law Enforcement Liability: Claims from police misconduct, often involving video evidence.
General Liability: Cases like slip-and-falls, dangerous public property, and vehicle accidents.
Regulatory Compliance: Strict adherence to state-specific government claims acts.
Key Contributions:
Apply deep knowledge of tort liability and statutory law (including government immunity) to resolve complex, high-severity claims.
Conduct thorough fact-finding and evidence analysis to accurately evaluate liability and assess damages.
Manage litigation by strategically coordinating with legal counsel and guiding claims through all phases, from arbitration to trial.
