[Remote] Gen AI Product Manager

The role involves partnering with engineering and AI/ML teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.ResponsibilitiesPartner with engineering and AI/ML teams to integrate third-party (e.g., OpenAI) and internal capabilitiesExperience leading cross-cutting programs or technology deployments, focusing on emerging technologies and creating new processes for rapid scale-upExperience deploying software products (applications, services, etc.) or consumer hardware productsExperience in Design Thinking and customer-first product design processesLead the product design, business requirements, and definition of AI Center of Excellence initiativesEngage with project execution stakeholders for execution and program managementManage the project timeline, budget, and advocate for and adjust resourcing when necessaryIdentify and prioritize use cases and required capabilities initiativesCurate training datasets and tagging structures to fine-tune model performance and ensure desired outputsMonitor output metrics such as asset acceptance rate, generation cost, and asset velocity to optimize tool performanceSkills10+ years of product management experience with at least 3+ years working in AI/ML, creative tech, or content automationDemonstrated experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Stability, Adobe Firefly) and image-related prompt engineeringStrong understanding of model training pipelines, tagging systems, and metadata managementComfortable leading hands-on delivery in a fast-moving, ambiguous space with high visibilityExcellent stakeholder management and storytelling skills — you know how to align creatives, engineers, and executives alikeCompany OverviewAvenue Code is an IT consulting firm that specializes on Agile ecommerce software development.
