[Remote] GCP Data Engineer (USC / GC Only)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Raas Infotek is seeking a GCP Data Engineer to design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure on bolthires Cloud Platform. The role involves managing cloud environments, collaborating with development teams, and implementing cloud security best practices. Responsibilities • Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure on bolthires Cloud Platform (GCP) using various services (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, etc.). • Manage and monitor cloud environments, ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and security. • Collaborate with development teams to create efficient and scalable cloud architectures. • Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, etc. • Implement cloud security best practices to ensure data and application security. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GCP services, applications, and infrastructure. • Provide bolthires optimization strategies and monitoring to ensure effective use of resources. • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and recommend improvements based on emerging trends. • Perform regular backups, patching, and updates for cloud-based systems.
