[Remote] GCP Cloud Engineer -- W2 ONLY-- Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HYR Global Source Inc is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer for a long-term contract role. The engineer will focus on architecting and optimizing Google Cloud networking solutions, implementing infrastructure automation, and building CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Architect and optimize Google Cloud networking solutions, including VPC design, VPC peering vs. NCC (Network Connectivity Center) routing models, and hybrid connectivity via VPN and Interconnect
ā¢ Use Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager to establish and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), ensuring swift and consistent resource deployment
ā¢ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux) for automated testing, provisioning, and deployment of both infrastructure and applications
ā¢ Kubernetes and OpenShift: For container orchestration. VMware: For traditional virtualization platforms

ā¢ GCP Engineer coming out of large-scale enterprise virtualization and containerized environments
ā¢ IaaS platform development and hybrid/multi-cloud architecture
ā¢ Familiarity with container orchestration, API gateways, and serverless deployments
ā¢ Cloud Networking: GCP VPCs, Cloud Router + BGP, VPN/Interconnect, routing policies
