[Remote] Fund Accounting Manager (Tax)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 3 Bridge Networks is a venture capital investment platform seeking an experienced Fund / Tax Accounting Manager to oversee fund accounting, investor reporting, and tax compliance functions. The role involves managing accounting operations for multiple venture funds, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.ResponsibilitiesManage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for multiple venture capital funds and management company entitiesMaintain general ledgers and oversee all fund accounting activities, including:Capital calls and investor contributionsInvestment purchases/salesManagement feesCarried interest allocationsDistributions to LPsFair value investment accounting under ASC 820Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPCoordinate NAV calculations and investor allocation schedulesReview fund administrator workpapers and reporting deliverables, if outsourcedMonitor cash management and liquidity across fund entitiesManage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings for partnership entitiesCoordinate with external tax advisors on:K-1 preparationTax provisionsEstimated paymentsInternational tax reporting, where applicableReview investor tax reporting packages and ensure timely deliveryAssist with tax structuring for new funds, SPVs, and investment vehiclesMonitor changes in tax regulations affecting investment partnerships and venture capital fundsServe as primary contact for annual fund audits and tax reviewsCoordinate with external auditors and provide supporting schedules and documentationEnsure compliance with partnership agreements, investor side letters, and regulatory requirementsSupport internal controls and process improvement initiativesAssist with investor reporting and ad hoc LP requestsPrepare performance and capital activity schedules for investor communicationsSupport portfolio valuation processes and reporting requirementsCollaborate with investor relations, legal, and operations teams on fund-related initiativesIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processesAssist with implementation and optimization of fund accounting systems and reporting toolsDevelop scalable procedures to support growth of the investment platformSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA strongly preferred5–8+ years of accounting experience with venture capital, private equity, hedge fund, or public accounting firms serving investment fundsStrong understanding of partnership accounting and investment fund structuresExperience with venture capital fund operations and waterfall calculationsFamiliarity with GAAP and investment company accounting standardsExperience reviewing or preparing partnership tax returns and K-1sProficiency with Excel and fund accounting platforms such as: Investran, Allvue, Carta, QuickBooks, NetSuiteStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBig 4 or national public accounting backgroundExperience working with emerging manager or multi-fund VC platformsExposure to international fund structures or offshore entitiesExperience managing third-party fund administratorsCompany Overview3 Bridge Networks is a staffing company for accounting and finance professionals.
