[Remote] Functional Safety and Cyber security

Overture Rede is looking for an experienced Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Trainer to deliver corporate training programs for engineering and automotive professionals. The trainer will be responsible for designing and conducting sessions aligned with industry standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and ISO/SAE 21434, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of safety lifecycle and security engineering. Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive training on Functional Safety and Cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and standards. • Explain safety lifecycle processes, risk assessments, hazard analysis, and threat modeling. • Provide hands-on workshops and case studies using industry tools and real-world examples. • Develop customized content, labs, and exercises as per client needs. • Guide participants through safety mechanisms, ASIL determination, FMEA, FTA, and HARA methodologies. • Cover automotive cybersecurity concepts, including secure software development, threat analysis (TARA), and mitigation techniques. • Support participants with queries, practice labs, and assessments. Skills • Strong understanding of Functional Safety Standards – ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178C, or equivalent. • Expertise in Cybersecurity Standards – ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29. • Knowledge of Safety Lifecycle Management, ASIL Levels, HARA, FMEA, FTA, and Safety Validation. • Hands-on experience in Embedded Systems, Automotive Electronics, and Software Development Processes (ASPICE, V-Model). • Understanding of Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, Threat Modeling, Secure Communication, and Cryptography. • Familiarity with tools such as Medini Analyze, Ansys medini, Vector Tools, DOORS, or equivalent. • Strong facilitation, presentation, and technical communication skills. • Prior corporate or academic training experience preferred.
