As a Loan Processor, you will be the backbone of our lending operations, meticulously managing loan files, coordinating with underwriters, and ensuring every detail aligns with federal and state guidelines. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help facilitate smooth loan approvals and foster trust with our clients. Responsibilities • Review and verify loan application documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with commercial lending standards and other investor guidelines. • Gather and analyze borrower financial information, including credit applications, bank statements, PNL / Tax Returns and asset documentation to support underwriting decisions. • Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval, ensuring all required documents are accurately completed. • Coordinate with borrowers, vendors , insurance company, and Mile High Funding leadership to facilitate timely document collection and communication throughout the loan process. • Conduct credit analysis and assess borrower eligibility by applying basic math skills. • Maintain detailed records of all loan processing activities, including contracts, disclosures, and compliance documentation in line with commercial lending standards. • Qualifications • Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage processing within the financial services sector; prior loan officer experience is highly valued. • Familiarity with credit analysis techniques. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files efficiently while maintaining accuracy. • Proficiency in using loan processing software and 10-key typing skills for data entry; basic math skills are essential for calculations related to loans. • Ability to interpret complex financial documents and perform detailed credit analysis confidently.
