[Remote] Full-Time Fractional CFO
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Summit CFO Services is an advisory firm dedicated to empowering businesses through financial leadership. They are seeking a Full-Time Fractional CFO who will manage client relationships, provide financial clarity, and drive strategic direction for multiple businesses.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Serve as the primary CFO advisor for a portfolio of client businesses proactively identifying issues and driving solutions without waiting for direction
ā¢ Rapidly assess how each business operates and translate that into clear financial expectations, forecasts, and focused plans
ā¢ Lead decision-driven conversations that create accountability and turn plans into results
ā¢ Manage competing priorities across clients while maintaining momentum and quality
Skills
ā¢ Experience working closely with owners or executive teams in an advisory or leadership capacity
ā¢ Ability to manage high-stakes relationships and act as a credible advocate for owners with bankers, CPAs, and other key service providers
ā¢ Strong working understanding of accounting principles and financial statements; ability to guide accounting function improvements and partner with controllers
ā¢ Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency; ability to adapt quickly to different client accounting systems and ERP environments
ā¢ Strong grasp of forecasting, cash flow planning, and management reporting
ā¢ Excellent prioritization and time-management skills across multiple concurrent responsibilities
ā¢ Comfort working with imperfect information and imposing structure quickly
ā¢ Clear, plain-spoken communicator who can explain financial concepts simply
ā¢ High personal ownership ā you do what you say you will do
