[Remote] Full Stack/Angular Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Concero is seeking an experienced developer to support a major Angular upgrade initiative, modernizing a legacy application from an older version of Angular to the latest release. The role is primarily front-end focused, requiring collaboration across the application stack and execution of the upgrade process.

Responsibilities
• Lead and execute the upgrade of a legacy Angular application to the latest version of Angular
• Refactor and modernize existing front-end code to align with current Angular standards and best practices
• Identify and resolve compatibility issues, deprecated features, and performance concerns during the upgrade
• Collaborate with backend and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, even though backend development will be limited
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer related to the upgraded application

Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular (including upgrading between major versions)
• Solid proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
• Experience working with legacy codebases and modernizing front-end frameworks
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how front-end applications interact with backend services
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Full-stack development experience (Node.js, Java, .NET, or similar)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for Angular
• Exposure to cloud environments and modern deployment practices
