[Remote] Full Stack Engineer (Front End Focus)

The Full Stack Engineer will design and implement application features and APIs, working closely with cross-functional teams to build a product that meets the needs of sophisticated customers.ResponsibilitiesProactively work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Teams to develop new features throughout the platform, maintain and enhance existing functionalityParticipate in end-to-end architecture reviews and discussions with the broader team, playing an influential role in overall in engineering and product designBuild clean, performant APIs to power compelling, usable data visualizations; contribute to their design; and engineer them in React, Python and/or ScalaOwn meaningful parts of our service, have a direct impact, grow with the companySet and maintain a high-quality bar in architecture, application stability and performance, and code hygieneSkillsAt least 5 years of experience building rich web-based applicationsExperience of building web applications using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Backbone, or similar)Experience with Ajax and working with RESTful APIsExperience of building web applications using Python, Java or ScalaSolid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)Strong understanding of SQL and experience with at least one DBMSBachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science or related fieldExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience of building web applications using either Python Flask or Django frameworkKnowledge of Typescript, ES6, ES7 and aboveA good eye for visual designAWS experience is a big plusExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECSCompany OverviewFrom San Francisco to Singapore, we help different companies (startups and established) to fulfill their hiring expectations.
