[Remote] Full Stack Developer

They are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and implement software solutions, contributing to the full software development lifecycle and mentoring junior developers.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities across various legacy and modernized systemsParticipate fully in the software development lifecycle, including release and sprint planning, testing, demonstrations, and retrospectivesDevelop high-quality, maintainable code using modern frameworks and practicesCreate RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot and integrate them with responsive Angular front-end componentsTransform mockups and UI designs into functional, user-centered interfaces integrated with backend servicesAnalyze and solve complex technical problems involving system architecture, performance, and securityEnsure application quality, scalability, and maintainability through code reviews, performance optimization, and adherence to best practicesProvide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior developers and teammatesCollaborate closely with product owners, project managers, and cross-functional teams to achieve project goalsParticipate in continuous improvement of software engineering processes, tools, and standardsSupport release planning activities and contribute to software engineering guidelines and documentationProvide periodic reports on development progress and quality metricsSkillsUS Citizenship with ability to successfully complete a federal background investigationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent practical experience may be considered)Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in software design, development, and implementation within a Windows or cloud-based environmentDemonstrated expertise in: PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architectureAWS and cloud-based developmentHTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular MaterialRESTful API design and integrationSource control and concurrent workflows (Git preferred)Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OODD) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principlesExperience with SQL or PL/SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQLSolid understanding of all elements of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, configuration management, QA, and release managementTechnical Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) JavaFamiliarity with ETL tools, Kafka, or other messaging technologiesKnowledge of application security, automated testing, UML, or state management libraries (e.g., NGRX, NGXS)Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline implementationUnderstanding of system architecture concepts including scalability, reliability, and maintainabilityBenefitsFlexible Work Hours: Life doesn’t always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule.
