They are seeking a Frontend Engineer for their AI platform to develop and enhance internal AI-enabled systems and enterprise applications, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to build secure and efficient workflows.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance frontend interfaces and user experiences for internal AI-enabled tools and business applicationsSupport the design, deployment, and administration of AI platform capabilities across the organisationBuild custom UI endpoints and web interfaces that integrate with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure Functions, and related enterprise systemsSupport the development of reusable AI agent workflows and skills, including GitHub Copilot extensions and MCP-based integrationsCreate scoped system prompts and technical instructions to support agentic workflows, including IT operations, DevOps, observability, and resilience use casesProvide contextual engineering support by documenting internal environments, APIs, design systems, and domain-specific knowledge for AI toolsAssess and support the use of enterprise AI platforms, including Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and related technologiesPartner with internal teams to ensure AI platforms are secure, highly available, and aligned with business requirementsDesign and enhance access control guardrails, including RBAC, data hygiene controls, and responsible AI usage restrictionsSupport AI-assisted DevOps workflows, including code reviews, bug fixes, infrastructure support, and deployment of serverless agentsMonitor AI platform usage, system activity, and application performance to support reliability and governanceAssist with account administration, access control verification, technical support, and system monitoringCollaborate with external MSP and MSSP partners on security, infrastructure, and operational supportSupport custom reporting requirements for business teams, including management, finance, and accounting stakeholdersMaintain process documentation, technical procedures, and knowledge base materialsContribute to future IT roadmap planning, policies, standards, and platform improvement initiativesSupport special projects as required, including limited off-hours support where necessarySkills3–4 years of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or equivalent development experienceFrontend engineering experience, including building user-facing interfaces, dashboards, or internal toolsStrong understanding of modern web application principles and software development practicesHigh-level understanding of computer hardware, software, and enterprise systemsAbility to troubleshoot technical issues across applications, integrations, and user workflowsExperience with Windows environments and Microsoft Office 365Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP protocolsStrong communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures, documentation, and internal controlsMicrosoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, or other enterprise AI platformsPrompt engineering, context engineering, or AI agent developmentAzure development, Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Machines, or Microsoft FoundryPowerShell or other scripting languagesSystems integration and API-based developmentJira or comparable project management and ticketing toolsWorking with external development partners, MSPs, or MSSPsTechnical operations, help desk, or Tier 1/Tier 2 support environmentsAI-assisted DevOps, observability, or infrastructure automationExperience working with non-technical SMEs to define, build, and improve software solutionsExposure to SDLC policies, coding standards, governance frameworks, and internal controlsExperience supporting accounting, finance, professional services, or regulated business environmentsCompany OverviewHD Tech :> Global Tech Recruitment, Done Right We connect world-class tech talent with high-impact roles across the UK, Europe, North America and APAC.
