Remote Freight Dispatcher (Commission-Based)

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Freight Dispatcher to join our team on a remote, commission-based basis. The ideal candidate is well-versed in the trucking industry, understands the ins and outs of dispatching, and knows how to keep drivers moving and earning. What We Offer: • Remote position — work from anywhere • 5% commission per load booked (our company only charges 8%, so you take home the majority) • Access to reliable carriers and strong support from our team • Freedom and flexibility in scheduling Responsibilities: • Book profitable loads for carriers using DAT, Truckstop, and other major load boards • Negotiate rates with brokers to maximize driver earnings • Understand and match equipment types with appropriate freight (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, etc.) • Communicate clearly with drivers, brokers, and shippers • Monitor loads from pickup to delivery, ensuring smooth operations • Use industry-standard vocabulary, terminology, and practices in day-to-day operations Qualifications: • Proven experience as a freight dispatcher (1+ years preferred) • Strong knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, and other load board platforms • Ability to understand equipment, freight requirements, and industry terms • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Reliable internet and phone access (remote position) • Self-motivated and able to work independently Compensation: • Commission-Based: Earn 5% per load booked • Example: If a load pays $2,000, you earn $100.
