[Remote] Fraud Specialist - WFH Eligible

The Fraud Specialist role involves investigating potential credit card fraud cases, analyzing account history, and maintaining documentation for investigations.ResponsibilitiesResponds to 25 or more account inquiries per hour providing the merchants and cardholders of 5 or more assigned clients with standard/scripted responses to Service Level Agreement (SLA) defined alerts generated within the fraud detection queuesAssists with the completion of the lost stolen report, such as block and transfer of compromised accounts to prevent further losses and fraudulent activityBuilds the credit card replacement orders and completes shipping materialsBegins to build knowledge and basic skills required to identify fraudulent credit card activity through training, research of department policies, procedures, external regulations and analytic techniques, and the expertise of more experienced fraud analystsSkillsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentAbility and flexibility to work hours as assigned, we are a 24/7 Call CenterThis is a position that requires all work shift availability, including days, nights and weekendsThis position requires you to be on camera during training and other times as deemed necessary by your supervisorYour internet router / modem must be in close proximity to your desk / workstation area, as we will require you to hardwire into the back of the router / modem via an ethernet cable on day 1 of trainingNo wireless internet providers or routers can be usedAcquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasksWorks on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision outside of stated processes, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practiceHas little or no role in the decision-makingNormally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work, requires instructions on all assignmentsWorks under close supervisionBenefitsOpportunities to make an impact in fintechPersonal and professional learningInclusive, diverse work environmentResources to give back to your communityCompetitive salary and benefitsCompany OverviewFIS is a fintech firm that provides advance integrated banking, wealth management, risk and compliance, and other solutions.
