[Remote] Fraud & Abuse Investigator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RunwayML is building AI to simulate the world by merging art and science. They are seeking a Fraud & Abuse Investigator to analyze suspicious account activity, make decisions on account suspensions, and design workflows to identify fraud patterns.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Investigate networks of potentially fraudulent accounts using internal tools and data analysis
ā¢ Make decisions on account suspensions based on evidence and established guidelines
ā¢ Identify third-party platforms where our services are being resold without authorization, and draft and submit complaints / takedown requests
ā¢ Document investigation methodologies and flag patterns that could inform automated detection systems
ā¢ Contribute to designing workflows and processes to identify previously unknown fraud patterns
Skills
ā¢ Experience in trust & safety, fraud investigation, or abuse operations
ā¢ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
ā¢ Comfort with data analytics, including experience with SQL or other data querying tools
ā¢ Experience working with data warehouses like Redshift, Clickhouse, or Snowflake
ā¢ Ability to make sound judgments with incomplete information
ā¢ Clear written communication skills
ā¢ Comfort with working independently
ā¢ Familiarity with generative AI products
ā¢ Background in submitting platform complaints or legal notices
