[Remote] Fractional Social Media & Community Manager

Emora Health is building a mental health platform for the new generation, helping kids, teens, young adults, and parents access therapy and mental health support. They are seeking an experienced Social Media & Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their organic social channels, manage content, engage with the community, and shape their social presence.ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day management of Emora's organic social channelsSchedule and publish content across all platformsMaintain and manage the social content calendarEnsure content is optimized for each platformCoordinate closely with the Director of Creative Marketing on upcoming content and campaignsMonitor and respond to comments and conversations across all social platformsEngage with followers in a thoughtful, authentic, and brand-aligned mannerMonitor comments on both organic and paid contentEscalate sensitive mental health, customer support, or clinical conversations to the appropriate internal teamHelp foster a positive and supportive online communityIdentify social trends, platform shifts, and emerging content opportunitiesBring proactive content ideas and recommendations to the teamHelp develop recurring content series and community-building initiativesCollaborate on content concepts, hooks, and messagingIdentify opportunities to participate in relevant cultural and platform conversations in a brand-safe wayTrack engagement and channel performanceShare regular insights and recommendationsSurface content opportunities based on audience behavior and platform trendsSkills3+ years of social media management experienceProven experience managing brand accounts across multiple platformsStrong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTubeExcellent writing and communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience owning content calendars and publishing workflowsStrong community management instinctsAbility to work independently and proactivelyAbility to learn and work with a suite of in-house insights and creative pipeline toolsComfortable working directly within native social platformsExperience in healthcare, mental health, parenting, education, or wellnessExperience working with startupsCopywriting experienceStrong visual taste and content instinctsUnderstanding of basic design principles and what makes content perform on social platformsExperience identifying and capitalizing on social trends in a thoughtful, brand-safe wayCompany OverviewMental health platform for the next generation It was founded in 2023, and is headquartered in New York, New York, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
