[Remote] Founding Product Manager, New AI Products
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Playlist is building a platform for intentional living, connecting people with inspiring experiences in fitness and wellness. As the Founding Product Manager for new verticals, you will drive the product lifecycle for AI-native solutions, working closely with a small team to understand user needs and iterate on product requirements.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Own, evolve, and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new vertical SMB products, aligned with our broader company vision and product ecosystem
ā¢ Drive our AI-native design philosophy: where AI replaces workflow, where it consults, and where it automates on behalf of the customer. Software that works while they're with a client
ā¢ Get into the field. Build direct relationships with practitioners, understand their unmet needs, and iterate live on what you learn
ā¢ Work directly with a small engineering and design team to ship fast; own the roadmap, the spec, and the release
ā¢ Partner with Playlist's GTM team to shape pricing, positioning, and a product-led growth motion that drives adoption
ā¢ Bring high agency and creativity to every stage of the build, from blank page to a product customers can't imagine running their business without
Skills
ā¢ 7+ years of product experience, with experience building tools that real businesses depend on day-to-day
ā¢ You've shipped 0ā1 products and successfully scaled the customer base. You can walk through what broke, what worked, and what you'd do differently
ā¢ You've built with AI or built AI-native products. You have real opinions on where LLMs break, how to design for probabilistic outputs, and how to earn user trust in an AI-driven experience
ā¢ You think like a GM. You've shaped positioning, influenced pricing and ICP definitions, and can articulate why a unit works, not just what to build
ā¢ You're comfortable with ambiguity and high agency. You move without being told, define your own priorities, and thrive when the roadmap is yours to create
ā¢ You've worked in a startup-stage environment and are motivated by building something that drives real outcomes
ā¢ Bonus: experience in health, wellness, fitness, or service-business SMB. You understand the texture of running a small practice or studio
