Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform and is seeking a Founding Product Designer for its new financial services initiative. The role involves leading product design for financial services products, collaborating with various teams, and mentoring a product design team to enhance user experience.ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the product design vision and strategy for the Fanatics Credit Card and supporting productsPartner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data teams to bring innovative ideas to life while ensuring cohesive, fan-focused experiencesEstablish and scale design systems, processes, and best practices across teamsBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing product design teamFoster a culture of creativity, innovation, and user-centered designProvide clear career development paths, coaching, and feedback to help designers growOversee end-to-end design execution for high-priority initiatives, from discovery through deliveryEnsure designs are informed by user research, data insights, and usability testingDrive quality, consistency, and accessibility in design outputs across platforms (web, mobile, retail touchpoints)Act as a key partner to executive leadership, influencing product roadmaps and business priorities through design thinkingCommunicate design strategy and impact effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersChampion the voice of the customer across the organizationSkills12+ years of product design experience, with at least 5 years in design leadership rolesProven experience scaling design teams and systems in a fast-paced, high-growth digital environmentStrong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design leadership on consumer-facing digital products (sports, gaming, or entertainment a plus)Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices, design thinking, and user research methodsExperience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to drive measurable business outcomesExcellent communication, storytelling, and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersBenefitsThe salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.For information about our benefits, please visit https://benefitsatfanatics.com/Company OverviewFanatics is a global sports platform reimagining the fan experience across gear, trading cards, sports betting, content, events, and more.
