They are seeking a Senior Analyst for Fixed Income Attribution who will provide expertise in fixed income processes and ensure the accuracy of performance data.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the end-to-end process for fixed income attribution analysis, including transaction loading to vendor platforms, security mapping, return reconciliation, attribution reconciliation, and interpretation of resultsAnalyze and define business issues, opportunities, and enhancements, and help implement solutions to improve reporting processes and technology surrounding the fixed income attribution platformUse technical knowledge and business expertise to recommend and design solutions to complex business problems, including supporting development and testing for fixed income attribution platformsAnalyze and review business requirements for complex projects, determine feasibility, develop project documentation and proposals, and make recommendations to managers and business partnersServe as an escalation point for system or business process issues and manage relationships with affected stakeholders to ensure deadlines and expectations are metApply sound business judgment, technical knowledge, and project management experience to navigate institutional business lines and influence outcomes where appropriateWork with investment staff and stakeholders to explain attribution results and help ensure models align with portfolio management objectivesSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience3+ years of experience in investment performance measurement, portfolio accounting, performance accounting, attribution analysis, or investment operationsHands-on experience with Bloomberg PORT, including transaction validation, performance analysis, and reconciliation activitiesExperience reconciling holdings, transactions, returns, and performance data across investment platforms and reporting systemsExperience supporting fixed income portfolios and investment performance reporting processesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliation, and reportingExperience communicating performance and attribution results to investment professionals and business stakeholdersExperience working with FactSet or other performance measurement and attribution platformsUnderstanding of fixed income securities, portfolio characteristics, and sources of returnWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databasesExperience participating in performance measurement, attribution, or reporting platform enhancements and transformation initiativesProgress toward or completion of a CIPM, CFA, or other relevant investment industry designationCompany OverviewAlderson Loop provides management consulting, staff augmentation, project staffing, marketing, graphic design, content writing and SEO.
