[Remote] Fitness Technology Systems Engineer

GYMGUYZ is the leading in-home personal training company, operating in 150+ franchise locations across the U.S. They are hiring a Fitness Technology Systems Engineer to support and evolve the systems that power their franchise network, focusing on platform administration, data engineering, workflow automation, and cross-functional technical support. Responsibilities • Serve as an escalation point for Mindbody, GG Team, and Trainerize • Troubleshoot platform issues and support onboarding/offboarding • Maintain API integrations across scheduling, billing, CRM, marketing, and coaching tools • Manage Snowflake ingestion pipelines from Mindbody, CallRail, analytics platforms, and marketing systems • Build SQL transformations for reporting, forecasting, and KPI visibility • Collaborate with BI teams to maintain accurate Sigma dashboards • Support AI workflows used for assessments, marketing triggers, and operational insights • Build lightweight Python automations and assist with prompt engineering • Support API payload development, JSON schema work, and interface documentation • Build Python utilities for internal tooling and ETL enhancements • Assist with UI prototyping for future GG Team features • Work with Franchise Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Leadership to diagnose system issues • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable steps for non-technical users Skills • Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred) • Strong Python experience (automation, scripting, APIs) • Understanding of JSON, REST APIs, and SaaS integrations • Experience with platforms like Mindbody, Trainerize, CRM systems, or similar • Knowledge of ETL/ELT workflows and data modeling • Familiarity with AI tools and LLM workflows • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills • Interest in fitness, health, or wellness industries • Experience with BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase) • UI/UX exposure (Figma or low-code tools) • Experience with digital marketing analytics • Experience building or supporting AI automations • Fitness/wellness background (professional or personal interest) Benefits • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off • Training & development • Vision insurance • Medical & 401k • Generous PTO • Flexible remote work • Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding fitness brand • Exposure to cutting-edge fitness technology and AI projects Company Overview • GYMGUYZ is the FIRST in Home Mobile Personal Training and Fitness Franchise Company.It was founded in 2008, and is headquartered in Plainview, New York, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
