[Remote] Fire Protection Project Manager I

The role involves managing fire protection projects from initiation to completion, ensuring client expectations are met while maintaining project schedules, budgets, and documentation.ResponsibilitiesManage fire protection projects from initiation through completion, supporting system installations, upgrades, and service work with a focus on schedule, scope, and budgetCoordinate closely with clients, market teams, technical staff, and subcontractors to ensure project expectations are met and issues are resolved efficientlyDevelop project schedules, track progress, and communicate updates to clients, internal teams, and leadershipPrepare change orders by defining scope, schedule, and cost impacts in collaboration with technical and market teamsMaintain project documentation, contracts, purchase orders, correspondence, and electronic project recordsSupport project financial performance by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and subcontractor paymentsParticipate in project review meetings and contribute to quality, safety, and compliance initiatives in alignment with NFPA and OSHA requirementsSkillsHigh school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 3 years of fire sprinkler experience requiredMinimum of 2 years of project management experience requiredWorking knowledge of the fire protection industry including fire protection systems, project engineering and/or construction principles and schedule, as well as life safety regulationsFamiliarity with NFPA code requirements and OSHA safety standards requiredProven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasksKnowledge of design software (AutoCAD, HydraCAD, Revit) requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office and other management software requiredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environmentClear, professional communicator who adapts effectively to clients, contractors, and internal teams with the ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationshipsAbility to solve problems with urgency and independently drive initiatives from concept to completion while overseeing multiple projectsAdaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in problem-solving and negotiationValid driver's license requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of Deltek Vision preferredNICET certification preferredProject management certification a plusCompany OverviewCHA Consulting, Inc.
