[Remote] FinOps Technical Project Manager

BayOne Solutions is seeking a FinOps Technical Project Manager to support the execution of workstreams within their Computational Sciences Center of Excellence Portfolio & Operations. This role involves coordinating initiatives related to cloud financial management and infrastructure governance while ensuring alignment among cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate execution of initiatives across the FinOps & Technical Enablement roadmapMaintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependenciesFacilitate cross-functional coordination across technical and business stakeholdersTrack actions and ensure timely follow-up on commitments and deliverablesSupport governance meetings, workshops, and review forumsCoordinate agendas, materials, action tracking, and communicationsSupport execution of governance processes and operating rhythmsMaintain visibility into initiative status, risks, dependencies, and resource constraintsDevelop executive-ready status updates and reporting materialsSupport roadmap management and portfolio-level planning activitiesSupport development of executive-ready communications, presentations, and decision-support materialsFacilitate communication and alignment across RDT, xRED partners, business stakeholders, and technical teamsHelp drive alignment across teams with competing priorities and dependenciesEscalate risks and blockers when appropriateIdentify opportunities to improve planning, execution, governance, and reporting processesSupport implementation of operational improvements that increase team effectiveness and scalabilitySkillsExperience in project management, program management, PMO, business operations, technology operations, or related disciplinesBA/BS+ degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience5+ years of relevant experience in project management, program management, PMO, business operations, technology operations, or related disciplinesFamiliarity with FinOps principles, cloud financial management, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, GPU environments, compute capacity planning, or related technology domainsAbility to facilitate discussions between technical and business stakeholders and translate technical concepts into actionable plansExperience coordinating complex initiatives across multiple stakeholder groupsExperience supporting technical, infrastructure, cloud, or digital transformation programsStrong project planning, coordination, and organizational skillsExperience with Jira, Agile delivery practices, project tracking tools, or similar platformsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to translate complex topics into clear status updates and action plansStrong facilitation and stakeholder management skillsAbility to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across cross-functional teamsExperience working within matrix organizationsSelf-starter with strong attention to detail and execution disciplineFinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent experience preferredCompany OverviewBayOne Solutions provides computer programming services.
