[Remote] Financial Systems Analyst

As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will ensure the smooth operation of financial systems and reporting processes while collaborating with Accounting and Finance teams to enhance integrations and support decision-making.ResponsibilitiesRun regular maintenance, testing, and reconciliations to keep revenue recognition and financial processes accurate and compliantPartner with Accounting and Finance teams to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and support enhancements across finance systems and integrationsSupport testing, validation, and rollout of new features, upgrades, and bug fixesBuild and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support month-end close and ongoing business needsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and resolve data integrity issuesProvide ad hoc analysis and reporting support to internal stakeholdersSkills2 to 4 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Systems, ideally with exposure to revenue recognition and month-end closeExperience working ERP systems (Netsuite preferred)Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 experience is a plus)Proficiency in creating and maintaining saved searches, financial reports, and dashboardsFamiliarity with testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system rolloutsAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for analysis and reconciliationsStrong problem-solving skills and curiosity to dig into system or process issuesExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work across Accounting, Finance, and ITCompany OverviewEthos makes getting life insurance instant and easy.
