They are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst who will own the integrity of financial close and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financials while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesSupport quarterly external audit processes end-to-end: gather and organize supporting evidence, coordinate responses to auditor requests related to owned processesWork with internal partners to drive continuous process improvements informed by audit findings and data analysis, with a focus on elevating financial quality standards and reducing riskPull and consolidate data from HubSpot (sales), Celoxis (project management), and QuickBooks (accounting) to maintain accurate revenue and expense databases that support reliable financial analysis and reportingPartner cross-functionally with SweetRush Finance, NIIT Finance, Operations, and Production stakeholders to improve financial workflows and system accuracyMaintain and calculate revenue and expense provisions methodologies with a high level of complexity on a monthly basis as part of the month-end close processPrepare and deliver NIIT-specific financial reports including accounts receivable and payable aging schedules, revenue schedules, and monthly business review packagesCollaborate on variance analysis versus prior periods, translating data fluctuations into clear, actionable insights for senior leadershipEnsure all data feeding into reports has passed required quality control checks before distributionSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in financial operations, financial planning or financial reporting roles within a fast-paced corporate environmentAble to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies in financial data, and take initiative to clean, reconstruct, and validate it — comfortable navigating imperfect systems and finding answers where the data doesn't make it easyAdvanced Excel proficiency — pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling are used daily in this roleSolid knowledge in close processes, financial planning, business analysis and systems navigationFamiliarity with ERP systems beyond QuickBooks (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis and translate financial data into meaningful business insightsAble to construct and clean up data where there are gapsStrong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracySelf-directed and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fully remote environmentProven ability to influence stakeholders in a complex environment where there is no hierarchyBusiness analysis or management key metrics internal reporting to senior stakeholdersAcumen in corporate level financial reportingExperience working within a multinational organization or with a foreign parent companyExperience leading teams as a manager or as a business partnerBasic SQL knowledgeCompany OverviewSweetRush is an e-learning company providing virtual classroom and gamification solutions.
