They are seeking an experienced financial reporting & accounting policy professional for a temporary role with a publicly traded financial services client, primarily responsible for preparing SEC reports and advising on accounting policies.ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of the annual Form 10-K and quarterly Form 10-Q reports with the SECOversee the preparation of several non-SEC statutory and regulatory financial reports to be filed with U.S. federal agencies, states and government sponsored entitiesMaintain and recommend updates to significant accounting policiesAdvise on the accounting and reporting for new transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAPOversee the maintenance & documentation of internal controls that are Sarbanes-Oxley compliantSkillsBachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields10+ years of relevant financial reporting & accounting policy experience requiredCPA (Certified Public Accountant) license, or equivalent requiredQualified applicants must reside in the continental U.SMust be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
