[Remote] Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will assist in all areas of financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure overall financial performance against budget.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the execution of annual budgeting process, quarterly forecast, and development of five-year forecastAssist with the monthly review of financial resultsAnalyze detailed corporate and financial informationParticipate in corporate financing (debt and equity) and M&A transactionsPrepare presentations to Board of Investors and InvestorsBuild financial models based on the operational drivers of the business to evaluate historical performance and forecast projected financial resultsImprove financial and operational status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to managementDevelop supporting materials to share analyses and findings with senior managementDemonstrate commitment and attendance sufficient to complete the duties of the position as requiredPerform related duties similar to the above in scope and function as requiredSkills5 years of FP&A or comparable experienceAt least an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS ExcelKnowledge of principles and practices of finance administration in accounting, budgeting, and auditingDetail-oriented personality with executive maturity, business acumen, and the ability to influence with exceptional communication skillsAbility to handle competing priorities and complex projectsCuriosity, Strong Problem-Solving Skills, Process Improvement, Statistical Analysis, Reporting research results, Excellent Presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees up to Executive LevelBe able to work towards goals with low levels of supervisionEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of workHealth plan experience preferredBachelor of Science in Finance, Business or Accounting preferredCompany OverviewAlignment Health provides eldercare services.
