This role involves analyzing and forecasting financial data to inform strategic decisions, advising senior management on financial strategies, and leading complex analyses related to the organization's financial position.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate information for strategic and operational decisionsCollect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicatorsAnalyze the costs of proposed investments or other transactions for evaluation against business objectivesEvaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's financial positionAnalyze revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange ratesMay involve financial modeling, reporting and budgetingAdvise executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significanceExercise independent judgment on complex issues regarding job responsibilities and related tasksSkillsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field8+ years of finance and/or accounting experience, or equivalent2+ years of project leadership experienceWorking knowledge of coding using SQL, SAS, or similar toolsExperience advising senior leadership on financial strategiesKnowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reportingPrior experience developing methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing data for complex analysesLead and manage special projects that may necessitate cross-functional partnershipsMaster's Degree in Business Administration or a CPA strongly preferredPrior health insurance industry experience working in Finance/AccountingBenefitsThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
