The role involves establishing and maintaining an integrated system of financial services, supporting accounting, budgeting, analysis, and reporting activities critical to facility management.ResponsibilitiesDirects and promotes the use of advance techniques in budgeting, management, finance, accounting and manpower managementAssists operating programs in the development of budgets and advises organizations on liquidation and self-sufficiency effortsProvides expert advice and recommendations for innovative approaches and solutions of facility financial operationsPrepares or edit narrative justifications and projected funding needs and assure that data in requests is formally and accurately documented in a wide variety of unrelated formsAdvises and makes recommendations on financial policies, procedures and other fiscal mattersProduce comprehensive analysis of program accomplishments in financial terms to assist management in planning and decision makingAdvises on the status of programs, particularly regarding program objectives, progress and accomplishments and probable effects of alternative actionsAnalyze and evaluate continual changes in program plans and funding and their effect on financial and budget program milestonesAnalyze financial and budgetary relationships to develop recommendations for financial and/ or budgetary actionsOversees the design of a complete accounting systems for the Medical CenterApproves the transfer of funds between program activitiesAdministers an accounting system designed to track, reconcile and report on agency administered programs and/or appropriations for which the agency has legislative oversight responsibilitySkillsYou must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this jobTo be considered for this position, you must complete all required steps in the process.
