The role involves executing financial due diligence for various transactions and collaborating with senior stakeholders on client deliverables.ResponsibilitiesExecute financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactionsAnalyze key areas of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet to identify risks and business driversLead assessments of net working capital, debt and debt-like items, and operational metricsDraft and deliver Quality of Earnings reports and other transaction advisory deliverablesDevelop tailored reports addressing normalized earnings, valuation inputs, budget achievability, indebtedness, and carve-out financialsCollaborate with senior stakeholders on client deliverables and engagement executionParticipate in proposal development and client calls as neededSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting required7+ years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory Services, or Transaction ServicesDirect experience supporting buy-side and/or sell-side transaction engagementsStrong technical accounting skills and knowledge of U.S. GAAPExperience performing Quality of Earnings analyses, net working capital assessments, and debt/debt-like analysesAbility to contribute immediately with minimal onboarding or trainingExcellent analytical, written, and communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is requiredAs a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background checkCPA is highly valued and considered a significant plusCompany OverviewMBO Partners has the industry’s only complete business operating system for independent workers.
