[Remote] Financial Controller

FYST is a fintech company seeking a junior finance professional to develop expertise in management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The role focuses on supporting management reporting processes, including P&L consolidation and financial analysis.ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation and consolidation of management reporting, including P&L statements from multiple data sourcesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting processesAnalyze financial results and identify trends, inconsistencies, and unusual variancesSupport budgeting processes and budget data collectionCoordinate with budget holders and collect financial data required for budgeting activitiesAssist with balance sheet preparation and reconciliation activitiesPrepare financial analyses, reports, pivot tables, and ad hoc management requestsWork extensively with Excel and Google Sheets to gather, structure, and analyze dataParticipate in various finance projects and operational improvement initiativesSupport reporting automation, process improvement, and data structuring initiatives using Excel and Google SheetsSkills2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Controlling, Management Reporting in fintech, payments industries, or other fast-paced environments would be an advantageGood understanding of accounting principles and financial statementsExposure to management reporting and budgeting processesPractical understanding of the differences between accounting records and management reportingAbility to interpret P&L statements, expenses, and balance sheet itemsIntermediate Excel skills are a must (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)Experience working with Google SheetsAbility to identify inconsistencies, challenge numbers, and think critically about financial dataCuriosity, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to challenge assumptions when something does not look correctFluent Russian and Intermediate English proficiencyExperience with reporting automation, process improvement, or financial data optimization would be a strong advantageBenefitsCompensation that will fully correspond to the competence and knowledge, with yearly performance reviews.The opportunity to attend conferences, courses, and professional development at the company's expense - we favor the continuous development of our employees.Remote type of work.Vacation time; bank holidays; Sick leaves; Additional birthday day off.Company OverviewFYST provides technology consultancy for eCommerce and FinTech businesses.
