The Workplace Planning Consultant will engage with participants to deliver personalized education and advice on retirement plans, helping them navigate their financial wellness and make informed decisions.ResponsibilitiesDeliver one-on-one conversations with plan participants focused on retirement readiness, financial wellness, managed accounts and plan featuresProvide point-in-time advice on topics such as contribution strategies, investment allocations including Managed Account solutions, rollovers, and distribution optionsLeverage Empower tools and resources (e.g., Best Interest Profile, participant portal) to guide decision-makingManage inbound and outbound interactions, including phone calls, emails, and warm handoffs from internal partnersAct as a trusted point of contact through basic transactions such as rollovers and transfersIdentify participant needs and make introductions to Wealth Solutions teams, managed accounts, or other specialists as appropriateMaintain detailed notes, follow-up actions, and participant outcomes in CRM toolsDemonstrate a commitment to meeting performance goals tied to asset retention, education impact, and participant satisfactionSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredFINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) required within corporate-established timelinesFINRA fingerprinting required1+ years of experience in financial services, customer service, or call center environmentsStrong communication and listening skills; empathetic and participant-first mindsetComfort with learning new technology platforms and toolsAbility to thrive in a performance-oriented, high-volume environmentExperience delivering financial education or advice over the phoneKnowledge of qualified plan types (401(k), 403(b), 457) and IRA rollover processesExposure to CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Empower recordkeeping toolsBenefitsMedical, dental, vision and life insuranceRetirement savings – 401(k) plan with generous company matching contributions (up to 6%), financial advisory services, potential company discretionary contribution, and a broad investment lineupTuition reimbursement up to $5,250/yearBusiness-casual environment that includes the option to wear jeansGenerous paid time off upon hire – including a paid time off program plus ten paid company holidays and three floating holidays each calendar yearPaid volunteer time — 16 hours per calendar yearLeave of absence programs – including paid parental leave, paid short- and long-term disability, and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA)Business Resource Groups (BRGs) – BRGs facilitate inclusion and collaboration across our business internally and throughout the communities where we live, work and play.
