They are seeking a Financial Analyst to support business planning and decision-making processes, focusing on financial analysis, cost management, and budgeting across various departments.ResponsibilitiesConduct financial analysis to support business planning and decision making by presenting insights and recommendations to managementDevelop and manage standard costs for new and existing itemsComplete month-end close tasks, including monthly financial reports for the Executive Leadership Team and various Business UnitsAssist with procurement analysis and related projects including but not limited to spend analysisPartner with Logistics department to provide an in-depth financial analysis of actual spend on transportation costsAssist with Product and Customer P&Ls, assessing their profitabilityEvaluate and analyze capital expenditures, manufacturing, and continuous improvement projectsParticipate in preparing and compiling annual budgeting and multi-year planning processes for assigned categories of the P&LUtilize enterprise systems to consolidate data from various systemsPerform ad-hoc financial and variance analysis upon requestSkillsStrong Excel skills with experience in preparing financial reporting, analyzing financial dataProficient in Microsoft Office and working experience with an ERP systemExcellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracyMinimum of 2 years' experience in financial analysis, experience in manufacturing industry is strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or can demonstrate experience in relevant areas)Ability to work in a results-oriented, project-driven, real-time team environmentStrong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsMust be able to maintain a high level of confidentialityCost accounting experience and knowledge of standard costing is preferredFood and beverage industry experience and manufacturing facility oversight preferredBenefits401(k) with 6% matchMedical, Dental, Vision, LTD, STD and Life insuranceVacation and Sick timeWellness ProgramCompany OverviewTruRoots Company is a food and beverage company that cultivate brands and delicious products that nourish families and communities.
