We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Financial Analyst & Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Investment and Asset Management teams, you will play a crucial role in evaluating new investment opportunities, assisting with back-office operations, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis for acquisition, disposition, and financing of retail commercial real estate and related investments
Model various equity and debt financing options, gather and process data on market rents, vacancy, sales comps, and more
Collaborate with the VP of Acquisitions to track offers, collect and analyze due diligence, gather debt quotes, and prepare investor memos
Assist with asset management, property management, and accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and rent collections
Update web-based leasing marketing channels and provide support for opportunistic investment analysis
Requirements and Qualifications:
University-level degree (or graduate level) with strong academic credentials in business, accounting, real estate, or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of financial analysis or accounting experience, with real estate acquisitions analysis, valuation, cash flow forecasting, and/or property management experience a plus
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with experience in AppFolio or other web-based accounting/property management software systems desirable
Effective written and verbal English communication skills, with a keen interest in learning all aspects of the real estate investment business
Organized self-starter with critical thinking and prioritization skills, committed to learning from leadership and offering fresh ideas
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $2,750 - $3,000 USD/month
Flexible working hours (Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week) with a schedule that falls between 7am - 6pm Central Time Zone
10 days of PTO, plus 7 US holidays recognized as paid holidays

Performance-based bonuses issued at the end of each calendar year
